Sunday Services: We worship together on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Friends and visitors are always welcome! Holy Communion: Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday. We welcome all baptized people of faith to the Lord's table who believe that Christ is present in the bread and wine, and who are looking for this gift of life and forgiveness. Lent: The six-week Lenton season begins with the 7:00 p.m. Ash Wednesday Communion service. The following midweek Lenten services are also held on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. Holy Week: 9:00 a.m. - Palm Sunday: Procession of Palms 7:00 p.m. - Maundy Thursday: Communion 1:30 p.m. - Good Friday 7:00 & 9:00 a.m. - Easter Sunday: Communion (Easter Breakfast is served between services )
Thanksgiving Eve: 7:00 p.m. - Community-wide service is hosted by St. John's Lutheran and the Johnson Creek United Methodist Church the night before Thanksgiving. St. John's hosts one year, UMC the next. No Thanksgiving Day service is scheduled. Christmas Eve: 4:30, 7:00 & 11:00 p.m. - Three candlelight Communion services are held every Christmas Eve Christmas Day: 9:00 a.m. - Service of Carols and the Word |
