2007 ~ Care in Communities requests

  • Jefferson County Jail Ministry received $600 hands-on service grant.

2008 ~ Care in Communities

  • James Topel Benefit was held at Crawfish Junction in Milford on Sat., March 8.  James was injured in a snowmobile accident in early  January.  Friends & family organized a benefit which consisted of food, karaoke, silent auction and raffles!  St. John's put together a  Thrivent service team to help out at the benefit while also submitting a request for supplemental funding. Special thanks to Steve & Deb Brown, Jean Klug, Lynn Mehringer, Wendy Keeser, Pam & Bob Hill, and Julie Wright. How awesome it was to be out in the community helping others.
