Youth Groups
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus..." Philippians 2:3-5
Each year, the children of St. John's get the opportunity to participate in life-changing experiences such as TeenServe Mission Trip (http://www.teenserve.org/), Summer Camp at Sugar Creek (http://www.sugarcreekbiblecamp.org/), and more!

Get involved in a summer mission
trip that is sure to get your youth group "fired up" for serving others and
"fired up" for the Lord!! As one newspaper headline stated, "Teens Gain By
Giving Hard Work."
Each day will include a time of serving that you may
do with a paint brush or hammer in your hand, plus, devotions, great food, free
time and an awesome, totally cool evening program. You will never be the same
after experiencing so much during this weeklong event.
Who
is TeenServe?
TeenServe is a division of Cross-Walk
Ministries, Inc. Cross-Walk Ministries, Inc. Visit their website at http://www.teenserve.org/.
TeenServes's Mission Statement:
TeenServe is dedicated to
communicating to youth the knowledge of a saving relationship with their Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ, equipping and challenging them to share their faith in
Jesus Christ with others.
That mission is accomplished
by:
Allowing the Holy Spirit to work through us during summer
missions trips. Each participant is involved in morning quiet times, crew
devotions and evening programs that challenge them to a deeper walk with Jesus
Christ. The work projects provide participants the opportunity to imitate Jesus'
servant attitude while here on earth.
